When Coalesce fits

- Platform support and delivery scope
- Coalesce supports multiple platforms, including Snowflake, Databricks and Microsoft Fabric. Agree the target platform and specific feature requirements for the implementation.
- Templates and business rules
- Standardize repeatable work without hiding exceptions. Someone must own each definition and review generated SQL when its behavior changes.
- Transformation and ingestion
- In-database transformation does not by itself move source data into the warehouse. Plan loading, refresh dependencies and failure handling alongside the models.
